Mission Verse
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
— Proverbs 22:3; 27:12
Frederick Reddie is first and foremost a disciple of Jesus Christ.
He is also the one who coined the term Preparer—a distinction intentionally created to replace the secular concept of a “prepper.” In his teaching, a Preparer is not driven by fear or self-preservation, but by obedience to God, accepting responsibility to protect, provide, and prepare for the well-being of family and community in alignment with Scripture.
From this foundation, Reddie teaches that believers are not only called to prepare themselves, but to help prepare others.
Drawing from Christ’s command:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” — Matthew 28:19
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
he calls this generation to rise as Preparers of Men and Preparers of Women—disciples who go forth, knock on doors, spread the Gospel, and prepare lives through the Four Pillars of Preparedness: Spiritual, Mental, Practical, and Physical.
Reddie is the founder of Preparers of Men and Preparers of Women—a movement dedicated to advancing the Great Commission by raising up believers who not only hear the Word, but actively carry it into communities, equipping others to be prepared in every area of life.
The vision for Preparers of Women will be entrusted to his future wife, who, by the providence of God, will labor alongside him as a helpmate in this calling.
He is also the founder of The Preparedness Awareness Community Academy (TPACA), an online community and social enterprise devoted to advancing Christian values through the practice of preparedness. Currently in development, the platform is scheduled to launch on September 1, 2026. Through this work, he equips individuals, families, and communities to cultivate what he calls a culture of preparedness, rooted in biblical wisdom, faithful stewardship, and personal responsibility.
At the center of his teaching is what he calls the Four Pillars of Preparedness: Spiritual, Mental, Practical, and Physical. He teaches that preparedness begins with a born-again relationship with Jesus Christ, is strengthened through disciplined thinking and discernment, expressed through wise stewardship and provision, and sustained through physical health and endurance. He summarizes this conviction with the principle he coined:
Obedience to God’s Word is preparedness™
With over fifteen years of experience in urban preparedness, Reddie holds a certificate in Emergency Preparedness from the University of Pittsburgh and serves as a member of CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), participating in training designed to help communities respond effectively in times of crisis and support one another in moments of need. His work and insights on preparedness have been featured in major media outlets, including The New York Times, NBC, The Drudge Report (Top Line, Third Column), TheStreet, and others.
He also developed the acronym P.R.I.M.E.D. — Prepared, Ready, Immediately to Manage Emergencies Directly, a framework that emphasizes the level of readiness, responsibility, and decisiveness believers should embody when caring for those entrusted to them.
Through writing, teaching, and outreach, Reddie seeks to equip disciples of Jesus Christ to embrace the Four Pillars of Preparedness, so they may live faithfully, stand firm in times of difficulty, and endure with wisdom and courage.
His next publication, The Four Pillars of Preparedness:
How All 66 Books of the Bible Reveal God’s Pattern for Readiness, Endurance, and Salvation, will further expand this framework, demonstrating how the entirety of Scripture reveals a consistent pattern calling believers to prepare, remain ready, and endure to the end.
The Third Temple Deception is his first published manifesto as an independent author, written as a watchman’s warning to encourage believers to examine widely accepted teachings about prophecy in light of the full counsel of Scripture—and to return to the authority of God’s Word.
“So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.”
